Randomly selected by God through me from the book "8,789 words of wisdom" by Barbara Ann Kipfer copyright 2001
Do any of them speak to you?
Week # 57, my #12 TT Get the T13 code or view other Thursday Thirteens :)
Very good words of wisdom. I especially liked numbers 4 and 6! But we should remember them all.
ReplyDeleteVERY nice list...words to live by.
ReplyDeleteMine's up!
Excellent list ... loved # 4.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
i love them all...
ReplyDeletemostly 1,2,4,8,11
but #1 is the best... I absolutely HATE it when people say horrible things about the way others live their lives....
I loved your random thoughts...there is some pretty good wisdom in all of them.
ReplyDeleteI so needed to read those just now. A little insomnia and they just kind of de-stressed me. All of them were excellent, and number 13 was even a little mysterious!
ReplyDeleteHere are my TT for my week #5...

Great list of quotes! Number 13 is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThey all speak to me. What a great list!
ReplyDeleteVery nice list, ICL- excellent choices.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite today is #5. Very good advice. :-)
That is a wonderful list!!! I had to learn so many of those things before I became a good mother.
ReplyDeleteSo many people forget to listen, and think that everyone needs to hear what they think.
Often our children, our grown children need us to listen, be quiet with them and hug them.
Wonderful quotes! Thanks for sharing them! I especially love #1.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
Great list. #12 caught my eye first, but I really love #10.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Thursday!
I think your first statement is my favorite. It took me a long time to learn that one. ;)
ReplyDeleteLoved them all.
ReplyDeleteI really should do the Thursday 13 sometime!
Take care!
Great quotes. As for #1, always be consistent. Kids get mixed messages when you aren't.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
How'bout -- I feel more like i do now then when i first got here?!
ReplyDeleteHmm.. maybe not eh?! LOL
I know a few..
#1: Never hate an enemy; for what you see in them that you may not like, you may also see in yourself!
#2: Two wrongs don't make a right; but two rights will always make everything great.
#3: Do not judge people by the color of their skin; but always by the color of their disposition and their willingness to put themselves before others!
#4: Not everyone believes in ESP, but everyone is an empath -- most of us simply don't give a shit to try! Has a movie ever touched you? That your first step to being 'enlightened'
And #5: Life is NOT complicated; people are complicated. People who keep things simple, love one another and use common sense are those that are at peace.
There's my made up wisdom for ya!
So true! So very true!
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
Stop by!
#3 is very true! My FIL (it was on CNN and MSNBC) has been struck 3 seperate times in his almost 60 years and is still alive. Mine is up now.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! The one about knowing when to leave a party: I never want to leave because I'm worried I will miss something amazing!
ReplyDeleteI find, the only thing I would end up missing is me making a complete ass of myself!
Great TT!
Great list --- loved them all.
ReplyDeleteWonderful list! #8 is a gem!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday!
great great list.
ReplyDeleteLightning can certainly strike twice!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to live by #7....I still have trouble throwing away the tings that bother me (and sometimes stepping on them too), but I'm trying to wish all the bad well.
ReplyDeleteLoved #1 and #8! So true!
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
Very true and wise words all of them, which makes it impossible for me to pick one as a favorite!
ReplyDeleteYou are right! Every parent has their own way of raising their own kids. Each to their own way. As you said some people learn when they get burned. That is why there is a saying "you learn by your mistakes."
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
But I love magazines with ads. That's the whole reason I read some of them.
ReplyDeleteAhhh you are so wise ICL.....so wise.....(bowing down before you)...hehe
ReplyDelete#1 is a good one! It's not always easy to remain non judgemental when it comes to kids and raising them
ReplyDeleteHey I'm finally off! Woohoo! Had to work wed, thurs.
ReplyDeleteNever fear, I will visit my first day off!
Great words of wisdom, I enjoyed them, and they are so true!
#1 is my favourite too. I always remember some one telling me that all we could hope was to be good enough parents...perfect was never going to happen.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the good reminders :)
