Cats on Tuesday

Gattina's Cats on Tuesday

Look it who found a scrunched up blanket to curl up on?

Miss Phoebe.

aka Mrs. Crankypants

The one with Permanent PMS since she was a year old!

It's because of her that we ended up with two more ginger tabbies after her. She was too cranky. We went back to our tried and true tested models. Orange ginger tabbies. Lots to love about those ones!!

She does like to walk with you when you take the dog though. ha ha ha But only up to a certain point in the park. She won't go any further but will come back home with you when you pick her up again on the return journey! You'd think she had a magnetic collar on her or something!!! LOL

  1. LOL! I'm with ya on the orange tabbies! They are sweeties!

Thanks for stopping by today and leaving such a niiiiiiiice comment! Those kids -- they are VERY creative thinkers, aren't they? I LOVE to celebrate Christmas -- but it doesn't 'touch' me the way Holy Week does! Probably because it's all HAPPY! (duh...)

  2. Aw, she's such a cutie, even if she is a bit grumpy. That's very clever of her, to stay put until you come back to her after your walk. I admit, though, cranky cats can be hard to live with, as I've known a few in my time. Right now, Socks fits that definition with me, being a biter when picked up and moved away from what she wants to get into. Thank goodness my other two are sweet (to me, if not to each other). Happy Tuesday!

  3. She looks so funny and really "cranky" I don't know if the color of a cat has something to do with the character. A few years an orange cat decided to move in, bit and fought with all my cats, purred with us and I had to give him to my friend where he could be an "only" cat. It really was impossible to keep him. Even Kim who just tolerates us but loves cats and dogs, was so afraid of him that she moved out ! What a mess until he found his new home.

  4. I have a cranky pants girl too... she permanently wakes up on the wrong side of the hot tub cover (She sleeps in a bed on the hot tub). She reminds me of Bucky... the cartoon cat on Get Fuzzy strip.

Both of these are such special faces... how could you not love them?

  5. Phoebe is very beautiful, even if she is cranky. Interesting that she likes to walk with you when you walk the dog!

  10. I love the name Mrs. Crankypants! I have had a few of those kitties in my life too. My tried and true "tested models" are black kitties. Every one I have ever had has been sweet, friendly, and very outgoing! I have two of them right now. Thanks for the cute post!

  11. As a handsome ginger tom, I applaud you for your accurate and knowing description of your ginger cats. We are friendly, outgoing, and appreciative. Calicos like my housemate Caitie are pests. No brag, just fact.

  15. 'kay I'm pretty sure I made it 'round to everyone's blog for CoT.

I had trouble at kuanyin's ~ I kept getting these weird error messages. I'll try again today.

    G'day Cats!

  16. I did not know you had such wonderful cats. And big ones too. We have only small Manx, which are tougher than the most.

Thanks for telling you joined ConT.
