I met these beautiful birds for the first time at the South-East coast of England, but I think they were even bigger. I found them so nice, but apparently they were quite dangerous, because they stole everything eatable in your hands !

ReplyDeleteIf you think Seagulls are bad - try eating a Subway sandwich in downtown New London, CT (where I grew up)and see how long it takes for the "PIGEONS" to fly down and start bobbing their heads towards you looking for a snack. Now that's annoying.

I get the pigeons...I always make my daughter talk to me on the phone in case they peck my eyes out when I'm shooing them away. Seriously, birds freak me OUT.

You know you picked a good one this week, dear lady! While I love the shore and anything remotely connected to the ocean, seagulls are the one thing I really detest! They are disease carriers and scavengers. Real nuisances, to be sure.

Awwwwwww.... I LOVE them! I love to sit on the beach and watch them play... and toss cheetos to them! Of course... I've never been pooped on by one! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, seagulls drive me crazy. One year at the beach in Fort Myers, Florida the seagulls were so bad they were stealing the food right out of my son's hand.

ReplyDeleteStrange thing is that i love the sea and at the sea there is seagulls... so I don't find them as annoying as I woould otherwise. i'm in such good mood at the sea.
