OK we all look happy here. We are, after a celebration of a life well spent. We are also still in shock.
People in these shots: My older sis and her husband, my oldest daughter, my hubby, my aunt and uncle from Ireland, my granddog.
My Dad's not in any of these shots but he's doing well.
This is one situation where the adage "The more things change, the more they stay the same." doesn't fit.
Life has been permanently changed for me.
Deal with it Church Lady.
I'm trying.

I'm learning how to deal too. Let me know if you get it all figured out.
I'm not sure if that's something we ever figure out how to deal wi th...Nobody in the world is like your Mum and nobody could ever come close to taking that special place in your heart. But I think you honor her memory very well each and every day in all the little things that you do. I bet that would please her. ::Hugs::
So sorry to read about the loss of your mom. Dealing with the loss of a parent is never easy.
Take care.
((((hugs))) will keep you in my prayers!
I am so very sorry for your loss. (((HUGS)))
It's never easy losing a parent, no matter what your age. You have my deepest sympathy.
Thank you for playing and sharing.
I'm sorry about your change.
Mine's up.
Mist - it's taking a long time. I must be a slow learner! hehe
Lisa - you always know what to say! Thanks for that and thanks for putting up with me! As a regular visitor to my blog, you already know that I still get into the "woe is me" frame of mind about my Mum because I miss her so much.
Caylynn - you're a new visitor of mine. It was about a year and a half ago that she died suddenly. But that's how she would have wanted to go so I am happy about that.
Dawn - thank you and ((((((hugs)))))) back
Tina - thank you for the lovely Irish Prayer. It's lovely and so are you! I loved your post about the origins of Halloween BTW. Really cool!
A - Thank you so much. It's comforting to still get responses like this, even though it's been awhile. It helps! :)
Tammy - (((Hugs to you.))) I love visiting your blog. I'm always guaranteed a laugh or some serious empathy BITCHIN'!!! LOL
Lady S - Thank you namesake!!! Do you know I think I will soon know more Debs in blogworld than IRL?
Teena - thanks Chica! BTW I can relate to your pic for change this week too! Elections, elections, elections...I'll be glad when it's over and all those signs are gone!
Sorry you lost your mom. That is a sad "change"
