SPF

Kristine at Random & Odd says "SPF this week is brought to you by with the help of Dictionary.com1. ap·er·turen."

  • An opening, such as a hole, gap, or slit.
  • A usually adjustable opening in an optical instrument, such as a camera or telescope, that limits the amount of light passing through a lens or onto a mirror.
  • The diameter of such an opening, often expressed as an f-number.
  • The diameter of the objective of a telescope.

"Because I know you’re all just weirdos that read my site, your assignment isn’t going to be a hole, a gap or a slit because UPPERCASE God only knows what you’ll be showing me!"

Here's my slit revealing a wide open space:

SPF ASSIGNMENT:

1. A wide open space

2. Brightness

3. In the dark

Notice the 'diameter' of the brightness (like a lens, telescope) Woo hoo! I think I'm passing this assignment!

It was a dark and rainy night ... and I can't believe how clear this picture actually came out!

Nice perspective on the first shot.

However, I love the bright shot best. I wanna go play on the boats.

Awesome darkness shots. That's one thing you don't get with digital.. you know right away that it turned out and lose that excitement when the pics come back from the shop!

Awesome pics though.

Thanks for dropping by. Glad you liked my Snowbirds. ;)

Love that keyhole effect. I've never been able to pull that off, but I'm still trying.

Your night pic is awesome.
