Manic Monday - Basic Comfort

See below for my tributes to Stephen Patrick Cherry and Michael Francis Lynch
both killed this day 5 years ago in the WTC

Do you have a favorite comfort food? If so, what is it?

That would be chocolate or fresh bread.

Where do you go when you need to re-charge or get away from it all?

My bathtub.

Is there a certain item of clothing that always makes you feel better or more comfortable when you wear it?

pjs

Not too wordy today. Pool Boy's gone to a KoC meeting. I'm really tired. Have a good night.

ICL, I hope you have a good evening too.

It's okay not to be wordy sometimes. :-) I'm writing just to try to cheer me up. Today's a rough day for everyone.

I thought the tub was the only place I could find peace when my 5 children were growing up. I'd lock the door, climb in, light a candle. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

Did I ever tell ya about the one day I forgot to lock the door, and my middle son came running in to talk to me, and half his neighborhood friends too? He didn't miss a beat, kept right on talking like I was not laying there naked, and half the neighborhood in shock. Not to mention me of course. Don't think I'll ever get over that one. nope, don't think so.

Oh yeah...me too on the bath thing...with candles, and wine and a good book, in my 6 foot long soaker! My favorite escape.

Your tribute was excellent. You did a great job.

Happy birthday to your pool man...though I'm a day late.

Enjoy Wednesday
