Monday again? Yikes!

AND
I'm doin' last week's and this week's Manic Monday together. And since last week's is kinda a memory, I'm combining this as a Monday Memory post. Yes I'm a cheater but I'm also efficient! lmao

I've Been Everywhere...
What's the longest road trip you've ever taken? Do you like traveling in the car? What do you do to keep yourself (or your kids, if you have them) entertained while on a car trip? What's the oddest thing in your glove box right now?
create your own personalized map of the USA of states you've visitedor visited Canadian provinces
for our friends to the north!

Longest road trip is to Florida and back. I have taken that trip 9 times by car - 1500 miles each way. 27 hours driving. I've done it in 3 days 3 times, 2 days twice and in one day 4 times. I still love that trip. I would do it again many times. I almost prefer driving to flying. I'm not afraid of flying at all, but I just love the driving journey (as long as the weather is not bad i.e. snow). Sometimes, though, when you just want to get there, flying is better.

We use the laptop with DVD's for the 'kids'. They are great car travelers since they've done it alot. One daughter takes Gravol because she gets a little car sick but it's okay. Knocks her out! She needs to catch up on sleep anyways!! LOL

I have no idea what's in my glovebox right now but I know once I had nailpolish in there. I stuck it in there because I didn't want it to get too hot in the sun in the car. Why I had nailpolish in the car to begin with I'm not sure! LOL

All You Need Is Love
Could you ever be in love with someone you knew you couldn't trust?
Would you rather have a strikingly attractive spouse who was disappointing in bed or a plain-looking spouse who was fantastic?
Is it easier for men or women to find good partners?
If you could spend one night with anyone in the world you desired, but only by getting permission from your partner, would you ask for it?
If you found your true love, how long would you wait for him/her to return your love?

NO. THE LATTER. NOT SURE. DON'T THINK SO. 45 MINUTES. LOL.

Have a great week peoples!

We travel 1500 miles one way every Christmas from Virginia to Texas and then all the way back. I almost dread that trip every year because of the driving.

And you've made that long of a trip 9 times! Wow.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my mooning LOL.

Oh, you are cracking me up this morning!
That's a lot of road time you've had- ever consider being a long haul trucker? LOL

Just 45 minutes, eh? ;-)

Have a fantastic Monday and thanks for playing Manic Monday!

I am absolutely the worst person on a road trip. Very few have lived to talk about it.

Our big drive twice a year is to visit my MIL in upper state NY. Takes us about 15 hours but we usually stop mid way. Hubby and I are getting too old to make it all in one day! And now that we have the extra time since we have moved further south it is just too much!

You have done a wonderful job of combining today! I really like your thriftiness! Job well done!

I don't envy that drive - I have driven from SC to MN to SC to MN twice and it ain't gonna happen again until I MOVE! I would much rather fly - but then again....if it were just the 2 of us then maybe - just maybe the drive wouldn't be so bad

I'm with you on that Florida drive thing--and I think I've only done it 2 or 3 times. I think everyone from Canada was with us--interstate was like a fast moving parking lot.

My MM is up. http://collectingmythoughts.blogspot.com/2006/11/monday-memories-did-i-ever-tell-you.html

OH, that florida drive sounds terrific... if my back could handle it. I love to go by car too, gives you opportunity to see where you travel, not like in airplanes when you just take a big jump ;-) - though I like to fly too.
