Well, some of my favorites would be Notting Hill (which already made your list), You've Got Mail, Princess Bride, and all of the Lord of the Rings movies.
Great list, lots of good ones on there!
Great list! Oh, there are SO many movies I could nominate, many of them so cheesy that I'm a bit ashamed to mention them.
I will nominate the Sound of Music. I love the music and the cinematography in that one.
Blues Brothers. Nothing better or funnier.
Happy Thursday!
Oh I forgot to add Nemo, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, and Shrek! (According to The Boy of course)
Raising Arizona.
Bell, Book & Candle
Barefoot in the Park
Auntie Mame (with Roslin Russell)
Breakfast at Tiffany's
i'd say karate kid! :) it's a classic! wax on wax off
Best is Show is a riot!
Have you seen Walk the Line yet? If not, RUN don't walk to the video store and check it out.
Loved Sense and Sensibility! It's one of my most-often-watched.
Another is Little Women with Winona Ryder.
You've got my #1 as your #1, so I don't think I've got anything to add! :) OK, I'm quite partial to The Blues Brothers movie.
I don't know if I could come up with a good companion to that eclectic mix. I haven't seen that many on your list . . . Notting Hill was good.
All the Mr Bean episodes of Rowan Atkinson, not the real movies. I love him... Next after Mr Lifecruiser! *lol*
What? No Johnny Depp movies? (laughing)
I live for movies.
I really like For a Few Good Men. That one I can watch over and over.
On my list --
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid without a doubt...starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford--the best western around. And oldie (1969, I think) but goodie.
The new 2004 Phantom of the Opera
Of course, Gone with the Wind
Cellular is good also. Intense, but well done.
Oh, and a couple of funny ones is It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and Cannonball Run.
More or less, Science Fiction would be Jaws
Now, I'm off to catch up on your blog. Thanks for the visit...Today, on my blog, I have a bit of Corpus Christi Texas and a bit of culture. :o)
My T13 is up.
Well, for comedy, I would have to say "My Cousin Vinny". And for a drama, "Searching for Private Ryan". I saw Private Ryan only once and wept for 20 minutes after. The impact that movie had on me was profound. We own it now and I still can't bring myself to watch it again - but it is still with me.
Either Field of Dreams or Shawshank Redemption.
Oh my there are sooooooo many - just can't pick just one
my favourite would have to be something with adam sandler, probably Happy Gilmore.
Oh most defininately: Sweet Home Alabama :-)

There are so many, but based on your other 12, I'll nominate "Planes, Trains and Automobiles"
Oh I LOVE A Few Good Men. I've lost track of how many times I've watched that movie!
I'm late in getting here for last week. But, better late than never!
I love anything Tom Hanks is in! Love some of the others as well.
