Thursday Thirteen - 13 Homes in Tremblant, Quebec

1. Spent the weekend in Mt. Tremblant, Quebec
2. With my sis, bil, niece, hubby and youngest daughter (DD)
3. They had the use of a home / chalet in the vicinity
4. It was really windy and rainy on Saturday
5. Visited the shops at the ski village, despite the nasty weather
6. DD had a bad cold
7. Stayed in Saturday night due to the weather and we were tired
8. Cooked filet mignon on the BBQ - delish!
9. Watched THE Office shows and the movie Nacho Libre though I fell asleep
10. Woke up to an inch of snow on Sunday
11. Went for a nice walk down the road and got pics of these lovely homes by the lake
12. Was glad to get the extra hour on Sunday morning due to the clocks moving back
13. Got back around 5 p.m. Sunday, just as it was getting dark.

How come only some of the homes have snow around them. Do politicians live in the other ones. I've heard that all their hot air keeps the snow away but I've never witnessed it..

Your pictures make me even more hungry for winter, and snow! I'm so with you on the extra hour on Sunday; I think we should do that every weekend. Who cares if pretty soon the work day would start at 3:00 a.m.?

What a beautiful sight! We love the snow, but don't get too much of it in Texas. My boys would be very jealous.

Blessings.

Oh, though I'm sure that the views were quite wonderful, the......whispering in fear: snow.... is too bad for me to see. Oh, I so hate that white stuff. We've got some over here too. Awful.

But they say that it will go away sooooon and I'm cling onto that hope.

We've to buy some more whiskey to keep warm. Our favorite is Irish whiskey. Tullamore Dew is mine, it's mild.

Cheers :-)

Pictures with snow???? Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Here in NY, my hot peppers are still clinging to the front hill, pushing out baby peppers for me to munch.

I noticed the pics on your FlickR badge and had to find this post. :-)

Glad you liked Tremblant...one of my favorite places on earth.
