Manic Monday - Mr Sandman

It's kind of funny that I missed doing Manic Monday yesterday because I went to bed soon after I got home from work. I was soooooo tired. TMI, it was my first day of my 'p' and it wipes me out.

Do you have a regular bedtime routine that helps you get to sleep?

Yes, I fall over. Wait, that's not true, sometimes I get into bed first. Unless I fall asleep on the lazyboy first, which is then a real chore to get up from and brush my teeth. I am immediately back to sleep after that. Sometimes I think I do that when half asleep.

I guess watching or listening to the TV relaxes me and puts me to sleep.

On average, how many hours of sleep do you get each night?
7 but I really could do with 8.

How many hours do you actually require and/or like to have?
huit

How do you deal with insomnia?
I get up and work or blog. Usually I have insomnia because something is bothering me about the amount of work I have to do so I just get on with it. If it is a personal stress then blogging takes my mind off it. I usually have the TV on in the background.

I hope you are feeling better today!

LOL- You fall over, that's quite a bed time routine. ;-)

8 hours sounds great, but it doesn't always happen for me.

Hope your Tuesday is a good one. We have a snow day today so I'm "home from school"- wooty- woo!

Love the falling over routine, know exactly what you mean. I'm often asleep before I've made it upstairs :D

I used to get up in the middle of the night, but I found that this totally wiped me out for the next day. Now, sometimes I pray, there in the sleepless dark. Or I count forwards and backwards. Or I just ruminate. In any case, I'm still more rested the next day than if I get up.

I wonder... does blogging cause insomnia? :)

Lis - Much better today thanks! I went on my run and didn't even complain much. I thought my running partner was going to run away on me yesterday. Eventually I told her to just go ahead because I was dragging my butt so much and felt just miserable!

Tug - huit is eight in French. I felt I had to answer something different because I basically already answered her 3rd question in the second question. How anticipatory am I?

Celfyddydau - Hey welcome to my blog! You're new here I think though I've seen your name before.
I'll be over to visit shortly. I agree, falling asleep and sleeping are not something I have problems with, fortunately!

LL - Actually, you're right. More and more these days, if I do wake up, I pray. I would only get up as a last resort but have not had to resort to that because I always fall back asleep (I think) during my prayers. I often think it is God's way of getting me to spend time with him *wink*

I fall over too. Sometimes, I am sober.
