Have a Happy (.)

Kwizgiver wrote a post about that awful tagline for Always Maxi Pads:

"Have a Happy Period."

Read her post above about how inappropriate and aggravating that is. It is printed on their boxes and on the back of the liner strip, believe it or not. Isn't that the last thing you want to see when you are preparing your granny undies for the dreaded bleed?

She got me thinking of some potential feminine hygiene taglines from hell. Wouldn't it serve all women better if this were printed on the adhesive backing strip?:

  • Cause sometimes it sucks to be a girl.
  • *Hugs* from all the women at Procter & Gamble
  • Just a few days, that's all.
  • Hoo ha blotter, handle with care
  • The only time of the month, you don't want your pussy petted.
  • Pre-menstrual mood swings are justifiable reasons for throwing your television out the window, but the clean up afterwards isn't worth it.

And what are your suggestions for new tag lines????

Thanks for the kudos!

I've voted for your blog and it moved up!

Oh, and I sent you the "cheat sheet" for the Crimson Room.

Thanks for the laugh, I could really use it!
I don't think anything that I could come up with could top those. Because sometimes it really does suck to be a girl. Not that I'm complaining...I'll take that over the alternative any day. Hee hee!

Ha ha ha! Loved them all!

Can't come up with any fun ones, but I know what I would have wanted it to say:

"Free for life"

I wonder how much money I've spent on this so far in my life that I could have had much more fun for???!!!!

You crack me up. How about a warning that chocolate urges are to follow? Or, better yet, include free chocolate in the box!
