Why the Easter Bunny can Lay Eggs

Easter BunnyRennyBA writes about the story of how the Easter Bunny can lay eggs. I did not know this story, did you?:

Eostre found a wounded bird in the snow. To help the little bird survive the winter, she transformed it into a rabbit, but the transformation was incomplete and the rabbit retained the ability to lay eggs. In thanks for its life being saved, the rabbit took the eggs and decorated them and left them as gifts for Eostre. Read more about it by clicking here.

Read more about his Norwegian Easter Egg hunt from last year here.

HAPPY EASTER!

It is completely awesome!!!

What a blessing I bet it has been for you to teach confirmation classes. It sounds like you are a wonderful teacher, too!

Have a wonderful Resurrection Day! He is Risen!

Hello again! No, I do not have any formal training...I'm just a volunteer also. I do try to attend Sunday School Training Meetings in our area whenever possible, because the teachers give a lot of good insights and ideas. You are not at a disadvantage...you just have to search for more resources! At least, that's how I feel.

Thanks for commenting on the music...you are the first! I updated it for Resurrection Day...check it out if you are not too busy.
BTW, do I know your name, or did I miss that somewhere on your blog? It seems a little strange to call you ICL, instead of your name! Just wondering.
I invited friends over for Easter dinner so I will be busy, will probably post and surf late on Sunday evening!
TTFN!

How sweet of you to make a Easter Post referring to our family tradition. It's early morning the first day of Easter here and we are about to go out in the forest to find the eggs. Roamers says the Easter Bunny is seen around - the whole family is so excited - we can hardly wait to find the eggs:-)
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Holiday!
